Vacation Bible Fun Review

June 29, 2015

20150622_VBF-4This week we invite you to enjoy pictures from our week of Vacation Bible Fun. Our four year olds through sixth graders learned about the Apostles’ Creed. They sang songs, made crafts, played games, listened to Bible stories, and ate snacks. Each day the students brought food for the Nourishing Network that provides food for children in need in the Edmonds School District. The success of the drive is indicated by the number of toppings you see applied to Pastor Phil’s ‘ice cream sundae’ head. We trust you enjoy the journey.

Come back to next spring for the date of our 2016 VBF. Students going into the seventh grade or above, can apply to be a part of the student staff. Children who will be starting kindergarten by the fall of 2017 through 6th grade are eligible to participate. Sign up early, we had to close registration this year.

Thanks to all the volunteers and parents who made this week possible.

The Apostles’ Creed

I believe in God the Father,
Almighty maker of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ,
His only Son, our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
And born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
Was crucified, died, and was buried;
He descended to hell.
The third day he arose again from the dead,
He ascended to heaven
And is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
The holy catholic church,
The communion of saints,
The forgiveness of sins,
The resurrection of the body,
And the life everlasting. AMEN.
